Very Versatile Fuzz
- Review Add on: 06/03/2026
- Average Rating: (5)
The Eleca Crush Fuzz is better than the demo videos show. Between the Tone, Gate, and Gain controls you can obtain quite a range of fuzz tones. Also, rolling back the guitar volume works to clean up the tone as well. It's not mentioned in the description but it has a standard 9v jack (as well as the possibility for internal 9v battery). Build quality is excellent. I took a look inside: it's running 2 2N3904 transistors, so similar to a fuzz face design (I think).

Noise Booster
- Review Add on: 07/08/2025
- Average Rating: (2)
Treble boosters aggressively filter the low end and drive amps into higher gain, via a high-mid boost. The effect was favored by the rock guitarists of the mid-late 1960s, who played through the dark, high-powered British amps of the day. As amp design changed, and overdrive pedals became available, treble boosters declined in popularity. This is important to consider, as treble boosters are largely impractical today.
The notable guitarists who've utilized treble boosters (Iommi, Blackmore, May, Gallagher, etc.) were doing so with the aforementioned amplifiers run at concert volume, at a time when PA systems/stage monitoring were primitive in comparison to today. Treble boosters sound much different when they’re not hitting an already compressed signal.
Knowing this, I still spent years scouring the internet for a budget treble booster to satisfy my curiosity. As a huge fan of early hard/heavy rock, I was eager to find out if I could find an application for a treble booster in my rig.
The quality of the enclosure of the pedal is fine, however, this unit is very noisy which worsens as the gain is increased. I have never experienced a pedal this noisy. I don’t know whether this is because of shielding/grounding issues, the pedal being true-bypass, the germanium transistor, or some combination of the three. To facilitate this pedal with a modern amp, you’ll likely need to back off the treble on your amp's tonestack. The pedal does what it is designed to do. Whether you like that sound, or can incorporate it, depends on the individual.
Tonally, it is different in character from an overdrive. There is some similarity to the graininess/sag/compression of a fuzz, but without the low end. There is a switch for full range boost, which also isn’t particularly remarkable. It provides the same tone without the highpass filter.
I can’t compare it to any other treble boosters, as I have never played any others. The reason for my purchase was simply because it is a third of the cost of the treble boosters manufactured by the boutique pedal companies.
I’d neither recommend nor dissuade anyone from buying this pedal, as treble boosters have a niche market and a specific application. If you have a vintage tube amp, and the luxury of not worrying about complaints from neighbors, give it a try. If you are planning to use this pedal at gigs, or are simply bothered by very high signal noise, you’ll need a noise gate.

I use this pedal for everything!!! Using this pedal is some amazing! The chorus is great and doesn’t lose any of the bottom end and adding the Q filter with it, makes your bass sound like a Moog! Wait, did I mention the octave on this thing? Anyways, the octave is just crazy good! It will fill the room! The comp+boost gives you a great slap time and adding the eq will beef up your bass as well! Overall it’s a great pedal! Highly recommended this pedal

Nice tuner/nice price
- Review Add on: 08/07/2025

I was in need of a tuner for a small board and decided to go away from the big 3 and try something a little cheaper priced. I was surprised by the quality and the build. The casing is solid, the screen is well lit, the jacks are tight. No unwanted sound or hum and no bleed through on bypass. A/b with other brands show it just the same on accuracy. I’ve tried the modes and prefer just the regular mode, but the strobe seemed good. Good tuner if you want to try a different brand.

I'm Cruzin' through a Phaze

Let's get this out of the way: I like space.
I like spacy things. I like things that take up space. I like things that sound like they are spacy and I like items that occupy space time as a temporal space-time event.
This pedal fulfills ALL of the categories for me.
It adds space without actually interfering with physics and it adds warmth without adding heat.
It's like a mushroom - it adds texture and just a little flavour. It's not like a mushroom in that it is statistically far less likely to kill you if you accidentally ingest it.
Also like some mushrooms, allegedly, this will also help you feel like you are somewhere in space. Inner space, outer space, Spacely Sprockets? Who knows!
That said, I like it. It's a fun pedal to play with - I like it with a compressor, which really lets me dial in the tone I want.

What a great Delay
- Review Add on: 18/06/2025

What a great little pedal. It is built in such a solid way. It is yet compact and portable.
The sound is stellar. You can hear the "analog" warmth. This is a pedal for those who appreciate analog tone. It's sound can be describes as: he sound as organic and subtle but yet it is lush at the same time. Compared with last delay I had (which was digital) this is heaven. It is tiny in safe but huge on sound enhances tone without overpowering Simple to use and Buy it as soon as you can.

Solid Lil' Light Dirt Boost
- Review Add on: 22/04/2025

High praise for the Caline G013 Killer Shark Boost! I wasn't sure what to expect, but on my never-ending quest for the perfect combo of light to medium dirt pedals to stack, I'll rolled the dice & was pleasantly surprised. I think I read somewhere that this is based on the DOD 250 circuit. Regardless, it can function as a clean-ish boost, but the gain is nice & it can function as an overdrive. It's ruggedly built &, while smaller than a standard-sized pedal, bigger than a mini which I like. Plus the graphics on it are pretty cool! I ended up finding it on sale, but even at retail, it's a good deal.

Loved it

This pedals is amazing. Transparent yet with great presence and body. This saturation and overdrive of the signal is different to anything I have owned. I think it is related to the differente approach Lunastone uses to saurate the signal via cascading circuit signal. Not cheap but worth every penny for a pedal made in Denmark by the previous designer of TC Electronic (when it was Danish and not a part of the Behringer group)
Highly recommended.!

What a surprise!

This pedal is built like a rock, Solid and manly looking. Honestly basd on price I wasn't expecting much but wow! it blew me out of the water! The range is great from a little tube like overdrive to full blown fuzz and everything in between. Lots of sustain as well! Highly recommended specailly for the price. The only thing is that it is a bit on the larger side but I live it. I only have 4 pedals on my board so pedal board real estate is not an issue for me.

This a super unit, so many great sounds for guitar and about 25 for bass guitar. It's easy to use but don't let the small size fool you this unit is rock solid like a little tank. I like the user interface screen on my Mac so you can tailor the sounds to your liking without having to use the stomp buttons all the time. But fits on a puter desk top great.Exceptional value for money!

This is an excellent analog flanger. I'm really happy with it. You have a lot of control over the tone produced by it. It is not noisy like some flangers. I prefer this to the TC Electronic Thunderstorm flanger I used to have.

Oops...my previous review should have been 5 stars. Hit 4 by Really enjoying this pedal. Great for punching through a dark amp or an overly bassy fuzz (which is most of them) or a heavy distortion.

The final polish on your sound and tone. I was very happy to hear what this little simple thing did! I saw that Ed Friedland used one, then found Steve Araujo at G&L doing a demo for bass (which is what I was after). Its a very subtle pedal but makes such a wonderful, rich difference. I would say that an apology for it would be: Your vision is pretty good as is, but you have mild prescription glasses to use for that tack sharp focus that brings everything comfortably into detail. That's what the Sonic Stomp does for your tone. Just add one, you will not regret it.

Great pedal for goosing a fuzz or drive or just cutting a bit of low end on humbuckers. Tone contol kets you dial out any unwanted crispiness. Low noise, small footprint. Bought a 2nd one as a gift.

The BBE sonic stomp maximizer is an "animal" very much its own, but of an indisputable quality and usefulness, it offers magnificent results, basically it brings a touch of valve warmth to the cold digital effects. I would say have it on and active on my pedal board 90% of the time. , I love its sound and I always use it when recording and specially on live playing with my band. Best $120 I have spend on my pedal board.

Getting a good wireless system for a guitar at a decent price was almost impossible a few years ago but Cuvave has really upped the game with this. I barely notice any difference between using this and a regular cable

As a huge AC DC fan I had always wanted to have the freedom to walk around the stage while being unencumbered by a cable. It even provides the compressed tone of Angus Young. The range and battery life is good and its pretty easy to use.

My first tryst with the tremolo effect was the songs from the late 80s and 90s. I had been making do with the inbuilt effect in my amp but it was time to get more serious. This pedal has a lot of flexibility and offers so many vibrational goodies in a small but sturdy package
